VI International students scientific conference “Sociology in the (Post)modernity” which will be held On April 17-19, 2008 at the School of Sociology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (pl. Svobody, 6, Kharkiv , Ukraine )

Working languages : Ukrainian, Russian, English.

The organizational committee invites undergraduate and graduate students to take part in the following sections of the conference:

During the conference , round tables will be held. You are welcome to give us your propositions of the round tables` topics in the application form.

Presentations should be limited to ten minutes.

Conference fee in amount of $5 for one participant should be paid on the registration.

The organizational committee does not cover travel, accommodation or any other expenses of participants. The abstracts submitted by the participants will be published in a conference proceeding.

PAPER PROPOSAL:

The paper proposal should also include a volume that should be up to two pages (A4 format), 1.5 interval; font is Times New Roman, 14.

The following aspects should be covered in the abstract:

  • Your main Research question.
  • Why this topic is important.
  • Identify the problems or subject of your essay.
  • Research methodology description (how was those problems researched).
  • Main conclusions of the paper.

ANY APPLICATIONS OR ABSTRACTS, WHICH DO NOT FOLLOW THE REQUIREMENTS DESCRIBED ABOVE OR SENT OVER THE DEADLINE, WILL NOT BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT BY THE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITTEE! If you have not received the confirmation from Organizational committee, please sent the application again. The conference volume will be given to the participants after paying the Conference fee in amount of $5 during registration at first day of the conference.
