The East Ukrainian Foundation for Social Researchwas founded in May, 1996, established at the initiative of sociologists, political scientists, lawyers of Kharkiv National University and other scientific institutions, businessmen, Mass Media and local government of city of Kharkiv.

The mission of East Ukrainian Foundation for Social Research is to support socio-technological and socio-engeeniring research on the base of comtemporary achievements in sociology, economics, political science, law, social phsihology, urban problems and other social sciences.

East Ukrainian Foundation for Social Research — public non-govermental (nonprofit) organization. Foundation acts due to charitable donations and grants for research activity.
