Since 1994 Kharkov branch of Sociological Association of Ukraine and School of Sociology of Kharkov V.N. Karazin National University carry out annual scientific conference "The Kharkov Sociological Readings".

On the results
of conference the collection of scientific works
is published. Till 1998 the collection was published
as "Kharkov sociological readings", since
1999 - as " Methodology, Theory, Practice of
the sociological analysis of a modern society".
Same year SCC (Supreme Certifying Commission) of
Ukraine has recognized this collection as a special
sociological edition. |
In the collection usually are represented sections in which theory-methodological issues of sociological analysis of a modern society, results of empirical researches of social and economic and political processes, problems of education and youth are submitted.
Section in which works of the future sociologists - students of sociological branches and faculties of high schools of Ukraine and NIS-countries are published, became traditional.
